
She has completely revamped her looks and broken out of her shy and coy image, but for actress Amrita Rao, her 'Main Hoon Na' co-star Sushmita Sen is the ultimate style icon and someone she has grown up in aweof sus.
"Apart from that, I closely interacted with her during the making of 'Main Hoon Na' where I realised that apart from her outer personality, fashion element and her dressing sense, she has this wonderful inner personality and confidence and for me it is her innate charm that makes her the style icon she is," Amrita told
When asked about her personal style statement, Amrita said: "I like to customize fashion. A lot of times we see things on others and feel that it will look good on us too, but that's not the case always because each one of us has a different structure and different complexion so its very important to customise. Also fashion trends keep changing so its very important to be comfortable in what you wear."
You might have read about stars shooting non-stop. But, this one stands out. Actress Amrita Rao, who is known for her professional perfectionism, shot for 24 hours nonstop while shooting for her upcoming film JAANE KAHAN SE AAYI HAI.
It must be recalled that amrita is playing the role of an alien in the film. This is the first time that the actress will don such a role. It took the directors over six months to convince amrita to do this role in the film.
According to our source, "Amrita Rao shot non-stop for 24 hours for her much awaited guest appearance in Milap Zaveri's JAANE KAHAN SE AAYI HAI. The movie's lead star Jacqueline Fernandez gave her company till her shot was over. In fact, Amrita and Jacqueline who got to know each other for the very first time bonded over cutting chai and bun maska at a local Irani restauraunt. Amrita is all praise for the newcomer's acting enthusiasm and enterprise. They share a common passion- philosophical books and nature besides being down to earth gals."
Well, though it was a 24 hour shoot, but Amrita's attitude lightened the long hectic hours making it an affair to remember.
