Freida Pinto is an Indian actress and professional model, best known for her performance as Latika in her debut film Slumdog Millionaire, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2009. Pinto won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
Freida Pinto beat off competition from celebrities like supermodel Kate Moss and Lady GaGa to be in the top ten list of Vogue’s most stylish women of 2009. She is ninth on the list, which has been topped by British TV presenter Alexa Chung. Da Vinci Code actress Audrey Tautou on the second place, with Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker on third. X Factor judges Cheryl Cole and Danniie Minogue claimed fourth and the fifth spot, respectively.
