The actor recently initiated a war of words with Deepika on Twitter when he tweeted: ''It is my first day of rehearsal with Deepika Padukone and she is late fashionably. And she's late! Anyone feel like reminding her that we're waiting?''

Not one to take such a comment lying down, Deepika retorted: ''I've packed up at 7am and woken up at 11am to colour my hair for our film, which I consider work and these things take time. I am not just faffing around. So relax.''

Looks like this was enough to quiet Imran down, who tweeted a little while later: ''I have just been informed that she's getting her hair done for the film. She has arrived! Time to work.'' Expect some fireworks on the sets soon.
