Reportedly, SK plays a fighter pilot who grows through a severe bout of depression. The unkempt look is meant to highlight the tragic phase.
A close source states, "Shahid has asked all his producers to complete their pending work before March, coz' he will then start to grow his beard for 'Mausam', and doesn't want any continuity problems with his other films."
Producer Boney Kapoor asserts that SK has requested him to complete filming the song number 'sab kuch khatam' from 'Milenge Milenge' by March, as he will commence canning sequences for 'Mausam'.
Guess, it's a fuzzy issue.
