She's turned wordsmith for celluloid. 'Tum Milo Toh Sahi', her forthcoming flick, features Vidya Malavade alongside Suniel Shetty, showcasing her as a writer Anita Bose Nagpal. "I've been very impressed by Jhumpa Lahiri as a writer and person, and have tried to bring in a bit of her into my role." reveals Malavade.
Last spotted in 'Striker', the actress would love to strike a few dance poses onscreen, since she's a trained 'kathak' dancer and has displayed her skills with performances on stage.
And for those who find the Indian dance form rather conservative, here's some modern news: Malavade has also garnered expertise in… hold on to your shoes… tap dancing, jive, salsa, rumba, samba, Italian dance forms and more!
"Dancing is my first love," states the actor in a newspaper talk. "It's not a fleeting hobby. It's a pity that I haven't got a chance to dance in any of my movies."
Item girl, anyone?
