It's time for some royal publicity as 'Prince' readies to earn the spotlight. Armed with jaw dropping stunts and awesome special effects, the Tips flick promos have generated a buzz and inspired interest amongst the viewers.
Producer Kumar Taurani is supremely sanguine of the movie's outcome. "For the first time, Indian audiences will see a Bollywood movie that has all the technical finesse and opulence of a Hollywood action thriller," asserts Taurani in a media chat.
Male lead Vivek Oberoi has come up with a spanking new lexicon for the action sequences. "I'd say the stunts are 'glocal'," Oberoi told the media. "Meaning it has the best of global technology, while it also will great appeal for local audiences. Director Kookie Gulati, action director Allan Amin, Kumar Taurani and myself have gone all out to ensure that 'Prince' is an edge of the seat thriller."
Five and a half months of agile training under a martial arts trainer from Thailand, a parkour trainer from England and Amin prepared Oberoi for the demanding action scenes ahead.
A chest thumping Oberoi declares, "We didn't shoot anything against a chroma screen. All those death defying stunts that you see, whether it is jumping off high rises, eye popping motorbike chases or helicopter scenes have all been done live."
Kudos, Oberoi.
