Rahul Mahajan and Dimpy Ganguly’s marriage is now official

Rahul Mahajan and Dimpy Ganguly’s marriage is now official. Both of them got married through a reality show but recently both of them turned up at the citizen facilitation centre of G- South ward office at Dadar and got a duly registered marriage certificate done.

In his application form, Rahul had mentioned that he got married at the Leela Palace hotel in Mumbai on March 6.

From Rahul’s side there were 3 witnesses namely Sameer Nair, Allana Fazila Sahabuddin and Auasaja Sayed Mohammed.

So finally its official, Dimpy is Mrs Mahajan

Rahul will spend 22 days on Honeymoon tour to Maldives

This news is from the Delhi as The TV Show Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega Completed now its time for honeymoon and now its all to be set again. So for this hotels had been booked, tickets must be reserved and much more they had been now to plan their honeymoon shopping and all. But he needs a passport?

But as you all know Rahul Mahajan is under the jurisdiction of  Delhi High Court regarding charges against him for Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS). According to the official Rahul was caught and alleged for selling banned drugs and using them without any consent. It was June 2 2006 when he was caught and Delhi High Court is hearing his case.

Rahul Mahajan was asked to deposit his Passport and get the bail in June so he deposited his passport to Delhi High Court. Now as he was to marry so he seeks for his passport by filing a application to the judge Malik who will hear the case on oth of the March and tell him what is to be done. Rahul has asked for 22 days travel and Honeymoon tour to Maldives.

Court on Tuesday allowed Rahul Mahajan to leave the country to go on a honeymoon with his newly wedded wife

New Delhi, March 9 (IANS) A city court Tuesday allowed Rahul Mahajan to leave the country to go on a honeymoon with his newly wedded wife.

Special judge J.P.S. Malik granted Rahul the permission and released his passport. But he will need to furnish a surety bond of Rs.500,000 and register his marriage within two months.

Clad in a blue shirt, Rahul who was in the court, appeared pleased with the decision.

He married Dimpy Ganguly on a TV reality show Sunday. Rahul, son of late senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pramod Mahajan, in his March 5 application had said he wanted to 'go to the Maldives and Ireland for his honeymoon on March 9 and stay there till March 30'.

Rahul's passport has been in the court's custody since his trial in a drug abuse case in 2006 and he was not allowed to leave the country without the court's permission.

Rahul and his father's secretary Vivek Moitra were admitted to Apollo Hospital here June 2, 2006, after they allegedly consumed contraband drugs laced with alcohol at Pramod Mahajan's then official residence at 7, Safdarjung Road. Moitra died in hospital.

Rahul was let off drug trafficking charges, which entail a harsher punishment, but was booked for consumption of banned drugs

But our source from the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai reveals, “Dimpy is more than confident that she will be Rahul’s bride and has already sent invitation to family and friends asking them to be present at the venue”. The source also adds, “I am amongst Dimpy’s invitees for the wedding and am making my preparations for the big night”.

In fact so strong is the chemistry between Rahul and Dimpy that apparently co-contender Nikunj Malik wanted to quit the show few days back. Nikunj did not like the fact that Rahul was getting close to Dimpy and could not see this happening before her eyes. “ Mera to vishwas hi dagmaga gaya (my trust has shaken)”, she was last heard saying.

The third girl Harpreet Chhabbra, a 21-year-old model and anchor, is nervous and merely says "I hope Rahul's decision is in my favour."

The girls have wooed Rahul in every possible way during the show, leaving behind 14 contestants. Over 16,500 women applied to be on the show.

The wedding will take place in a luxurious suburban hotel in Mumbai where the who's who of society will grace the occasion to shower their blessings on the couple.
